Prasad’s son demanded for internet . They have a laptop and so internet was next thing that prasad’s son wanted. Internet is feared word for many who aren’t using internet. The word itself means chats , online friends , cyber sex and pornography to many…
Same was with prasad. He asked my partner that “what is my son sees pornography sites?” . My partner replied -”Well we can take precautions but if your son wants to see pornography he would go to cyber cafe and see that”..Prasad frowned.. But my partner was right..His son was growing . He would be curious and would find ways to satisfy that curiosity..Was not giving internet or blocking the websites right solution?
Well this is my personal opinion and one may or may not adhere to it. But i believe that in certain phase of life such things are normal. Curosity is normal . Solution is not shying away from such issues but to give proper knowledge and guidance to the growing ones..
Sex education is not against our sanskruti as few preach us to. If parents wont teach then who would?..In country where pre maritial sex is one rise , where aids is growing , we as society need to educate our loved ones who are getting into that age bracket..
Yes one may use child locks , restrict websites but this is not going to solve things. Would it???
